🦅 Something NEW is being served at Shanklin Elementary!

We are excited to introduce our NEW Luling ISD custom lunch trays! 💚🤍 Our Little Eagles are already learning to manage their trays like pros, and we love seeing them enjoy something designed especially for Luling ISD!

But the trays aren't the only thing getting attention! 🥞🫐

Our new Blueberry Pancake Square with a dollop of whipped topping was such a HIT that students asked us to serve it again! Some of our little food critics even asked for the recipe and of course, Aramark delivered! ❤️

When our students get excited about school meals, we get excited too!

New trays. New menu favorites. Happy students.

PANCAKE MIX, WG BLUEBERRY SHEET TRAY 2.25BG

BLUEBERRIES (FROZEN) - THAWED

MIX, PANCAKE WG ZTF

WATER

Assembly Instructions:

Preheat convection oven 350 degrees, standard oven 400 degrees,.

Slack frozen blueberries in a perforated pan overnight in the refrigerator.
This allows them to defrost and drain.

CCP: Hold at 41 degrees or lower until needed in recipe.

Combine pancake mix and water. Whisk until just blended. DO NOT OVERMIX.
Reserve one cup of blueberries, gently fold remaining, drained blueberries into the mix.
Spread evenly on a parchment paper lined sheet tray.
Sprinkle remaining blueberries on top.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, rotating pan halfway through baking time.

Cut into squares- 9 x 5

Congratulations to our 7th Grade A Team on defeating Nixon-Smiley! 🎉 What a way to kick off the season!

And a huge shoutout to our JH Girls! You all played hard, battled through every point, and gave it your all. Although you fell short this time, we are so proud of the heart, effort, and determination you showed!

This was only Game 1, and we can’t wait to see what’s to come! There’s a whole season ahead, and we’re excited to watch our girls continue to grow, compete, and SOAR! 🦅🏐

✨ Celebrating Our Staff, Building a Culture! ✨❤️

At ARAMARK, we believe a successful school year starts with a strong foundation and that foundation is our PEOPLE.

This week, our Foodservice family had the privilege of celebrating two incredible ladies who have dedicated a combined 46 YEARS to K-12 Foodservice at Luling ISD.
✨ Alma Campos — 25 Years
✨ Sylvia Guerra — 21 Years

Alma and Sylvia are pillars of Luling ISD, and we are incredibly grateful for the knowledge, commitment, and heart they bring to our kitchens and students every day.

And in true Foodservice-family fashion, our team came together to make sure these ladies felt celebrated and appreciated! ❤️

That’s the culture we’re building—work hard, grow together, take care of one another, and ALWAYS show our people some love!
