Our Complex truly has something for everyone: from the 3 month old in music and movement classes to the older adult who wants to take one of our many visual art classes at the Arts Center. For home school students we have a full day of art enrichment on Wednesdays. Other opportunities are available for elementary school field trips, private tours of the historic Mable House property, and our Harve

st Festival presented by the Friends of the Mable House. There are gallery exhibits year-round, and annual events like the 12 Days of Christmas Arts & Crafts Market, Mable’s Tea Room, and Candy Cane Hunt, Spring Arts Fest, just to name a few. The Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre presents concerts and shows from April through October, so be sure to watch for the MHBA concert series to be announced in April. Please continue to visit our site often for seasonal events and changes in opportunities for families and friends. You may also want to view the Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs website to what's happening in arts and recreation around your area of town. We can’t wait to welcome all of our Week 1 campers this upcoming Monday at the Mable House Arts Center’s Mable Mixtape Visual Arts Summer Camp! 🎨✨

Parents and guardians, please remember to check your email and complete all required forms before arrival.

Helpful reminders for camp days:
• Half-day campers should bring a refillable water bottle and two snacks each day
• In addition, full-day campers should bring a ready-to-eat lunch and a water bottle

Begin your creative sewing adventure in this hands-on beginner-friendly class! 🧵✨

Students will learn how to safely and confidently use a sewing machine while building essential skills such as stitching straight and curved seams. Throughout the course, participants will explore how to select, understand, and prepare a commercial pattern for layout, cutting, and sewing.

By the end of the session, students will complete their own pair of lounge bottoms or shorts, while also exploring additional techniques like basic zipper application and other guided skill-building projects demonstrated in class.

Spend the summer creating on the pottery wheel at Mable Mixtape Visual Arts Summer Camp! 🏺✨

In our Specialty Afternoon Camp: Wheel Pottery, campers ages 10–15 will work alongside Instructor Mariella Owens to learn the foundations of wheel throwing in a focused and supportive studio environment. Students will build skills in studio etiquette, wheel techniques, and clay craftsmanship while creating their own ceramic pieces throughout the summer.

📅 Offered all 8 weeks of camp
⏰ Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM–4:30 PM

Campers are encouraged to enroll in multiple weeks to continue developing their pottery skills and confidence on the wheel.
