As we met on Monday, January 5, 2026, for our first City Council meeting of the year, I took a moment to reflect on what 2025 represented for the City of Powder Springs — a year of progress rooted in purpose, people, and partnership.

🏛️ A New City Hall ●
One of our proudest moments in 2025 was opening our new City Hall. This long-awaited milestone gave our city a modern home that strengthens service delivery and anchors the continued growth of our downtown.

🏙️ Economic Growth & Jobs ●
We welcomed new business investment, including HF Foods Group, a state-of-the-art distribution facility, bringing jobs and opportunity to Powder Springs and reinforcing our commitment to a strong local economy.

🌆 Community Voice in Downtown’s Future ●
Through initiatives like PS I Love Downtown, residents helped shape the vision for our historic downtown — proving once again that Powder Springs is strongest when the community is at the table.

🚶🏾‍♂️ Smart, Thoughtful Development●
Throughout 2025, we continued planning for walkability, connectivity, and quality of life — ensuring growth that respects our history while preparing for our future.

🤝 Grateful for Partnership ●
None of this progress happens alone. I am thankful for our City Council, city staff, business leaders, and — most importantly — our residents who care deeply about this city.

As we step into 2026, I’m encouraged by where we’ve been and excited about what’s ahead. I invite you to stay engaged, attend meetings, share your ideas, support local businesses, and continue helping us move Powder Springs forward — together.
