Help your child start the school year ready to learn! Community organizations are hosting FREE school supply giveaways on July 31st, August 1st, and August 8th to help students get the tools they need for a successful school year.

A huge thank you to our incredible community partners, Five Star Credit Union, United Way Community Schools, and Piedmont Hospital, for your continued support of our Burdell-Hunt Magnet School family!

Community Schools United and Five Star brought smiles to our faculty and staff by delivering sweet treats, making our day a little brighter. Piedmont Hospital also hosted its second Health Fair, providing valuable health resources and wellness opportunities for our staff and families.

Open House 2026 will be here soon! Middle and High School Open House will be on Wednesday, July 29th from 3:30 -6p.m. Elementary School Open House will be on Thursday, July 30th from 3:30-6p.m. We look forward to seeing everyone as we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year!

Bibb County School District families, your student's transportation information is now available in My Ride K-12! Please log in and review your student's bus stop location, pickup time, and drop-off time to ensure everything is correct.
If you have questions, concerns, or need to report an error, our Transportation Team will be available July 13–16 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 4580 Cavalier Drive to assist you.
