I was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden loss of former mayor Santos Garcia. Not only was Santos a dedicated leader and advocate, but he was also a friend and ally. He was definitely someone I always wanted on my team. My thoughts and prayers to Martha, his children and grandchildren. His passing leaves a profound loss that will be deeply felt by all those who knew and loved him. 🙏🏽

With heavy hearts, on behalf of the family of former Madera County Supervisor Max Rodriguez, we share the passing of their beloved father and grandfather.

Max Rodriguez, who served as Madera County Supervisor representing District 4 from 2004 to 2020, dedicated his life to public service and to the people of Madera County. He was not only a respected leader, but also a dear friend and colleague.

Born November 3, 1939, Max peacefully passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 86. His commitment to his community, his steady leadership, and his deep care for others, leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.

During this difficult time, we extend our thoughts and prayers to his family and all who knew and loved him.

Information regarding services will be shared in the coming days as the family makes arrangements.
