Local History Exhibit: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Unitarian Meeting House at 75
On display at the Middleton Public Library July 7 - July 21

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Unitarian Meeting House, widely regarded as one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most significant achievements. Through a blend of narrative and archival photographs and documents, this exhibit explores the planning, construction, and preservation of this deeply personal work—a National Historic Landmark that redefined the concept of sacred space since its completion in 1951.

A timely wrap up of one of my book maps, “Frank Lloyd Wright’s Built & Unbuilt Designs” in Madison! One of FLW’s most influential designs, the Unitarian Meeting House, is celebrating its 75th anniversary! had a great interview today with March Schweitzer, president of the Friends of the Meeting House, about the landmark and the events on deck to celebrate it this weekend.
