I've slipped a few "easter eggs" into the books for sale this week, as I often do; and by that, I mean books that we are only charging $1.00 or $2.00 for that are not just a deal, but more like a steal! And of course, among them are many others, less valuable in dollars, but that might speak to your heart, soul or intellect today!

It started out looking like an innocent book donation: good condition, intriguing title... but upon opening it, I discovered it had been transformed into a stealth book safe! Sadly, any precious jewels or rare coins had been removed before donating. We love your donations! But please refrain from hollowing out the center of the book first. Unless you plan to give us the treasures, too!

We have a new food vendor for our BIG BOOK SALE at 1301 W. Badger Road tomorrow, August 1st! We are so thankful that Sern Sapp will provide us with delicious Laotian food. You may know them from their restaurant on W***y Street! They will be at our sale from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The book sale runs from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. with bag sale from Noon -2 p.m. So stock up on books and get something really special for lunch!
