The Monroe Street Library will not be offering absentee voting.
In-Person Absentee Voting for the Fall Primary on August 11 begins next week at seven library locations.
In-person absentee voting is available beginning next Tues, July 28 and continuing through Sat, August 8 at seven Madison Public Library locations thanks to our partnership with the City Of Madison Clerk. During in-person absentee voting hours at the library, City of Madison residents can vote absentee, return absentee ballots, and register to vote (except during the three days before an election).
This beautiful watercolor was done by one of the amazing poll workers at Hawthorne Library during April in-person absentee voting! Library staffer Bre B. said, "I love seeing the beauty of Hawthorne through the eyes of our community." Hawthorne Library plans to trim, print and hang the painting in a position of honor within the Library, so you can see it in person soon!
