For nearly 40 years, Wellspring has been committed to helping survivors of relationship abuse (domestic violence) and sexual assault. What started as a small organization to provide basic shelter and crisis services now has a vision of ending relationship and sexual abuse in our community. In our time, Wellspring has assisted tens of thousands of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault—w

hether they needed an escape, were looking for advice, or sought to improve their quality of life, Wellspring was here for them. Wellspring is part of your community—we exist to serve you and your loved ones, and while we continue offering our essential safety, intervention, and support services, but we want to do more. We believe that educating our community about these issues and advocating for social change can help to prevent abuse and crises before they happen. In fact, our vision for Wellspring is ‘A Saratoga County free of relationship and sexual abuse.’

Not all volunteer work happens in a board room. Sometimes it happens with a shovel, a wheelbarrow, and a few hours outside. 🌿

Join us for Volunteer Day on June 10th at Wellspring as we mulch, w**d, plant, and care for the outdoor spaces that bring comfort and peace to survivors and families rebuilding their lives.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just willing to get your hands dirty, we’d love to have you there.

Homemade cards, self-care kits, gift cards, and so much more. 🩷

This Mother’s Day, multiple groups came together to help Wellspring clients feel loved.

Leaving abuse is never simple. Many survivors carry overwhelming guilt, uncertainty, and heartbreak especially on days like Mother’s Day. Some are rebuilding life with their children, while others are navigating painful separation and loss.

But thanks to this community, our clients are reminded that they are not alone.

Happy Mother's Day to moms everywhere .. and thank you. 🌸

Now THIS is community.💙

Wearing jeans on denim day might not seem like a huge thing - BUT IT IS.

Thanks to everyone in our community who showed up and said we care about supporting people victimized by s*xual a*use and we stand beside them.

Because it shouldn't matter what you wear.

As Sexual Assault Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to take one more moment.

To honor the courage, the will, and the quiet determination of survivors everywhere.

“I hear lots of women and men who say, ‘you’re very brave.’ I say it’s not bravery; it’s will and determination to change society. This is not my battle, but that of all r**e victims.”
— Gisèle Pelicot

At Wellspring, we see that strength every day.
And we believe you. 💙
