For nearly 40 years, Wellspring has been committed to helping survivors of relationship abuse (domestic violence) and sexual assault. What started as a small organization to provide basic shelter and crisis services now has a vision of ending relationship and sexual abuse in our community. In our time, Wellspring has assisted tens of thousands of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault—whether they needed an escape, were looking for advice, or sought to improve their quality of life, Wellspring was here for them. Wellspring is part of your community—we exist to serve you and your loved ones, and while we continue offering our essential safety, intervention, and support services, but we want to do more. We believe that educating our community about these issues and advocating for social change can help to prevent abuse and crises before they happen. In fact, our vision for Wellspring is ‘A Saratoga County free of relationship and sexual abuse.’

Five years ago, our community helped us open the doors to a new Wellspring. 💜

A place built for safety, healing, and hope. A place that has since welcomed thousands of people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

As we look back on these five years, we're reminded that this building is so much more than walls and windows. It's what happens inside that matters most.

A trip to the salon can be about more than a haircut. For many people, their beauty professional is someone they know and trust.

That’s why Milady, which educates beauty professionals, offers training on recognizing domestic violence and connecting clients with support.

During their company retreat, the Milady team learned about Wellspring and packed SO many bags of personal care items for local individuals and families.

Thank you, Milady, for showing up in such a big way for our community. 💜
