The Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office would like to notify the public of a missing juvenile. Help us get her home to her family!!!

Riley was reported missing from the Point Cedar area of Hot Spring County.
She was last seen last night wearing a razorback shirt, blue pants, and pink tennis shoes.
Riley is 5’7 and 110lbs.

This week, teachers, school administrators, and students across Hot Spring County headed back to the classroom- and our School Resource Officers are right there with them!📚

Our SROs play an important role in keeping our schools safe while also building positive relationships with the students, teachers, and staff they serve. From directing school pick-up/drop-off traffic, greeting students in the mornings, and being there when needed, our SROs are proud to be a part of our school communities.

We would like to thank these officers for showing up everyday, protecting our schools, and being a familiar and trusted face in our students’ lives!

🚨ANOTHER INCREASE IN SPAM CALLS🚨

Our office is once again receiving reports of an increase in scam calls from individuals falsely claiming to be with the Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office.

The caller is claiming that you have an FTA (Failure to Appear) warrant for failure to appear for jury duty and claiming that you are required to pay a large sum of money to have the warrant cleared as an attempt to obtain your personal or banking information.

⚠️THIS IS A SCAM⚠️

The Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office will NEVER contact you by phone call or text message regarding warrants, citations, fines, or similar legal matters.

If you receive one of these calls:

❌DO NOT provide the caller with any personal or financial information.
❌DO NOT provide your Social Security number, date of birth, address, banking information, or other identifying information.
❌DO NOT send money or make any payments to the caller.
✅ IGNORE, BLOCK, AND REPORT these calls whenever possible.

Please help us spread the word, especially to family members, friends, and elderly loved ones who may be more vulnerable to these types of scams.

When in doubt, HANG UP! Do not provide any information.

The Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office would like to wish all of our students, teachers, administrators, staff, and families a safe, successful, and exciting school year!

As our schools welcome everyone back, we want our community to remember that it takes all of us working together to keep our children safe and supported!

Our deputies are proud to serve alongside our schools, parents, educators, and community members. We encourage everyone to look out for one another, be patient in school zones, and help make this a positive year for the children of Hot Spring County!
