*Malverne Alerts*: A significant winter storm is forecast to impact our area Sunday morning into Monday afternoon. Effective Sunday morning at 8am, all on-street parking is suspended until further notice so DPW can clear the roadways safely. Cars can be moved to any Village parking lot. Please remove basketball hoops and other items from the curb line. When shoveling, please avoid throwing snow back into the street, and if you have a fire hydrant near your home, please make sure it is cleared of snow. The Nassau County PBA regrets to announce the passing of Active Police Officer Sean Ledwith of the Bureau of Special Operations (BSO). Officer Ledwith served honorably for 12 years in the Nassau County Police Department and was also a decorated United States Marine who served multiple tours overseas. Please keep Officer Ledwith’s family, friends, and BSO brothers and sisters in your prayers.

At the December 3rd 2025 Malverne Village Board Meeting. I was honored to promote Deputy Inspector George Leppard to Inspector, Captain Andy Chernoff, not pictured to Deputy Inspector, Lieutenant Chris Simmons to Captain and Sergeant Jack McCarren to Lieutenant, all were sworn in by Mayor Sullivan.

At the November 5th 2025 Malverne Village Board Meeting. I was honored to promote Reserve Officers Frank Vicari, Michael Goggin and Ryan Bacchus to the new ranks as Reserve Officer 1st Class and were all sworn in by Mayor Sullivan.

On Sunday October 19th Ocean Ave between Rider Ave and Lakeview Road, Wicks between Ocean and Rolling and Rolling between Wicks and Lakeview will be closedown at 8:00AM to approximately 9:30AM for the Malverne 5K Run.
