One of the priorities of my campaign was centered around creating Safer Intersections for Ward 5. That is what we are going to do for our children / families that want to play in our parks - ensuring that they are safe from vehicles, AND can get to and from school safely.

Great participation helping with back to school supplies at the "final friday" event

They set a goal for this months Manchester Final Friday and that was to gather school supplies for the upcoming school year. And thanks to CollectibleTags they were able to go above and beyond.

The level of impact we have made would not have been possible without the help of Chris and his whole team.

So MASSIVE thank you to them, and everyone else who dropped off supplies in our drop off bins, and a special thank you to Jason Bonilla for Manchester for helping us get it in good hands.

Purchased a poster designed by Kay Tucker (one of the winners of the poster contest celebrating Manchester’s 180th and America’s 250th birthdays).

Posters were printed in a limited run, and each is numbered and signed by the respective artist!

Professionally printed posters will be available for sale for $25.00 each, cash or check only. Posters may be purchased in the Manchester Economic Development Office, located on the first floor at One City Hall Plaza, during regular City Hall business hours and will be available starting TODAY (Monday, August 24th).

Posters will also be available at select events across the City, including the upcoming Manchester Final Friday Friday on August 28th on Hanover Street from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as the Manchester Citywide Arts and Kids Festival Street Fair September 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Proceeds from poster sales will directly support the ongoing work and public art initiatives of the Manchester Arts Commission.

Today we saw the BIGGEST turnout at CELEBRATED (Annual FREE back-to-school event for families) Manchester Proud

I enjoyed having so many conversations with our youth / families, community partners , and members of our Manchester School District .

A BIG thank you / GRACIAS to:

- Manchester, NH Parks & Rec for ensuring that Victory Park stayed clean! (before/after)
- Manchester Health Department for showing off the Dental Van and ensuring our families knew of the services available to them 🏥
- Manchesternhpd for giving away popsicles in a new fun / engaging way and for ensuring that things were going smoothly in the event!
- LATINO VIBE 949 for playing amazing tunes 🕺🏽
- Manchester School District for ensuring that our families were registered , and ready for the school year!
- To our amazing barbers / hair stylists who gave our children FREE haircuts. I know they will all be going back to school looking FRESH.

Finally to Aimee Deans Kereage from Manchester Proud - y’all put on an AMAZING event, and know that all of these resources, services, and supplies meant the WORLD to our families in Manchester!
