DEADLINE: Property Tax refund applications are due by August 15th! This year the Senate DFL secured $125 Million in property tax refunds for Minnesota homeowners, bringing the average refund to $1,600.

Minnesota Valley Action Council is thrilled to be a part of the Back to School supplies programs throughout our area! It really does take a community to help supply our youth, No one group can do it on their own. Le Sueur County handed out over 400 filled backpack with their required supplies. Today was a special morning at The Hive in Fairmont as we celebrated the Martin County Internship Program alongside this year's interns and their mentors. Even better—it happened to be National Intern Day, making it the perfect time to recognize the hard work, growth, and connections built throughout the summer.

This internship program is made possible through a partnership between the Martin County Board of Commissioners, Minnesota Valley Action Council, South Central WorkForce Council, and the many local businesses and organizations that invest their time in mentoring the next generation of professionals.
