Dear Brumby Families,

Fall Break is here! 🍂🍁 Take this time to enjoy your family, recharge, make beautiful memories, and most importantly, stay safe!

We’ll see everyone back on Monday, September 28! 💛 And remember, starting at 7:45 AM, it counts as tardy ⏰😉 So let’s come back on time, ready to learn, and bringing ALL the good energy!

Ms. Serrano had the opportunity to participate in a training alongside representatives from the other schools that make up Cobb County School District, learning, growing, and developing new strategies to better serve our school community.

Remember, our Parent Facilitator is here to support you and serve as a connection between our families and our school. We also have our Family Den available, equipped with the technology you need and filled with tons of helpful resources for our families.

We are here for you, and we are always happy to help!

Our amazing counselors surprised our staff with these delicious donuts 🍩❤️

It’s little moments like this that remind us how lucky we are to have such caring and thoughtful people on our team. The support our counselors provide to our students and staff means more than words can say. They are always there to listen, support, encourage, and make a difference when it matters most.

Our Annual Title I Meeting was a great success! We had wonderful translators supporting our Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking families, along with great ideas and feedback to help us plan for the upcoming school year.

As an extra touch, we also had a small refreshment table to make our families feel welcomed and at home. ❤️

Dear Brumby Car Riders,

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2026, we will return to our official 7:45 am tardy time. For the past few years, we have allowed students to enter late through the ASP doors until 7:50 am. Since most of the staff need to leave when the tardy bell rings, this has created a safety issue monitoring students. To address this issue, we will return to our official 7:45 am tardy process after Labor Day.

🔴 Please remember 🔴

PARENTS SIGN IN TARDIES: Parents are required to come in and sign their child in tardy after 7:45 am.

ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID THE TRAFFIC JAM: Our doors open at 7 am each morning. Please know
that if you wait until the end of our arrival time, the line will not move quickly. Arriving at school early will
ensure your child is on time every day.

CONSIDER THE BUS: Students are never counted tardy if they ride the bus. Consider allowing your child to ride the bus to avoid the car line traffic concerns.

BE PATIENT: Most importantly, please pack your patient for the car line each morning. Adults rushing to
drop their child off is creating an unsafe parking lot.

We need your help to keep ALL students safe during
morning arrival.

At Brumby, we have an amazing team! 💙 We cheer each other on, support one another, and find little ways to make each day special.

Today, our School Officer surprised our incredible clerk with these beautiful flowers as a little recognition for her endless hard work and dedication. 💐✨

Our front office definitely needed a little more color, and these flowers were just perfect! 💐

We are so lucky to have a team that looks out for each other and celebrates the people who make Brumby such a special place! 💙👏
