We’re hiring!

Mars Area Public Library is looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Circulation Worker to join our team.

This position helps with front desk service, checking materials in and out, assisting patrons, shelving, and keeping the library running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with the public, is comfortable with basic technology, and wants to be part of a welcoming community space. This is a year round position, not temporary.

A big thank you to the Friends of the Mars Area Public Library!

Thanks to a successful spring book sale, the Friends have graciously purchased two Launchpad Quests for our Children’s Department.

These interactive digital discovery hubs are designed for kids ages 3 to 10 and allow young patrons to explore educational games, stories, and creative activities.

We are so grateful for the continued support of the Friends and everyone who helped make the spring book sale such a success!

*Accepting Names to EOD Wednesday! Announcing our top five pick next week*

Our newest addition to the library needs a name!
This 3D printed T-Rex stands 5 ft tall and stretches 8 ft long and weighs in at a whopping 57 pounds taking roughly 760 hours to print!
Now the library needs your help giving our prehistoric pal the perfect name. Submit your name suggestions and library staff will choose their favorites for the public to vote on.
