The 7th grade enjoyed a much deserved park day . The weather was perfect. It was Mrs Singletary’s last park day, after 27 years of teaching with Jackson County Public Schools. Shoutout to 6th graders, Thomas Gulley and Tommy Lakes

The 6th grade class was finally able to enjoy a beautiful park day at Gray Hawk Park today. These two boys took it upon themselves to bring a trash bag and clean up the park at the end of the day. When they were noticed doing this and asked if someone had asked them to do it, they replied, “No, we wanted to. This is a community park, and we wanted to do our part to make sure it was cleaned up.” JCMS is very proud of these two young men.

6th grade Park Day has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Thursday May 28.

Students who are absent and do not have a new permission slip can use the previous park day permission slip from last week.
