Meet Chef Zach Fabian, the chef behind this year’s Schiff Farm to Table Dinner.

Inspired by what’s growing right here in our region, Chef Zach is creating a seasonal menu featuring beautiful ingredients from our local farms and inspired by the landscape around us.

But this evening is about more than a wonderful meal. Every seat at the table and local sponsor helps support Schiff’s work to protect the land, care for native habitats and wildlife, and connect people with nature for generations to come.

A truly unforgettable setting awaits...

Set among the rolling hills of the Morris County countryside, Hacklebarney Farm Cider Mill has been owned and lovingly operated by five generations of the Pitney family since the mid-1800s. Rich in agricultural tradition and heritage, it remains one of New Jersey’s last working heritage cider mills and orchards.

We are honored and deeply grateful to partner with Hacklebarney Farm as, for the first time, the gates of this remarkable farm open for an intimate evening celebrating conservation, local agriculture, and community all in support of Schiff Natural Lands Trust for our 8th Annual Farm to Table Benefit Dinner on Friday, September 25th.

Schiff Natural Lands Trust is thrilled to welcome you to our 8th Annual Farm to Table Benefit Dinner at Hacklebarney Farm Cider Mill on Friday, September 25th.

Our members-only presale has ended, and tickets are now on sale for the general public. Attendance is limited to just 200 guests, ages 21+.

This evening promises something truly extraordinary on a historic fifth-generation family farm, as we gather in support of Schiff to celebrate conservation, local agriculture, and community.

We’re getting excited for the final concert of our 2026 Music in the Woods series on September 6, featuring Hoboken favorite Widely Grown!

Guests should arrive by 3:30 PM for the 30-minute uphill walk to our outdoor Amphitheatre. BYOB, snacks, and something comfy to sit on! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.

Members: $20 | Non-members: $25 | Under 5: Free

Today we celebrate 42 years since Schiff Natural Lands Trust was officially incorporated on August 8, 1984.

For more than four decades, Schiff has been dedicated to protecting beautiful natural landscapes while inspiring people of all ages to connect with nature through conservation, education, and recreation.

Thank you to our members, volunteers, supporters, Board of Trustees, staff, and community for making our mission possible. Whether you have hiked our trails, volunteered your time, attended a program, or supported Schiff in any way, you are part of this legacy.
