🎃 The Ultimate Library Experiment: Meet Jack and Jill! 🎃

TFS families, we are diving into a little bit of science—and a whole lot of "gross"—in the school library! Inspired by the wonderful children's book Pumpkin Jack, we are launching an epic pumpkin life cycle experiment.
Meet Pumpkin Jack and Pumpkin Jill!
We picked them out, gave them some friendly carved faces, and sealed them tight inside a jar. They are going to stay right there until next spring!
What’s going to happen?
Over the next few weeks, things are going to get pretty exciting (and a little slimy). We’re talking white mold, green mold, wrinkling, and total decomposition right before our eyes!
But here’s where the real magic comes in... ✨
We left all of their seeds inside! As Jack and Jill break down, they will naturally feed and fertilize the soil. If our experiment works, they are going to make an epic comeback next spring as brand-new, green pumpkin sprouts! 🌱
Will Jack and Jill actually grow new vines? Follow along with us for weekly updates to find out!

Working with Your Child's IEP Team: Asking the "Right" Questions! IEP meetings can be overwhelming, jargon-heavy, and stressful. Sometimes we focus more on what we are going to say, than what we could ask to better understand each other and develop solutions. The Right Question Formulation Technique (QFT) provides a structured, objective way to untangle complex emotions and focus on advocating for your child's needs.
