Students who pre-ordered a yearbook will receive them tomorrow, Friday 5/15, to take home.

We also have extra copies available for purchase! The yearbook staff will be selling them each morning in the lobby by the cafeteria and again in the afternoon during dismissal. Order forms are also available in the office.

Friday night, MVCS held an incredible Talent Show, and our students truly showed up to shine! From amazing artwork and crochet creations to skits, musical performances, and so much more. The talent and creativity on display were outstanding.

Way to go, students! You made the event unforgettable, and we are so proud of your courage, creativity, and hard work. 👏✨

Dear MVCS Families,

We are excited to welcome our newest learners to the MVCS community! Kindergarten screening for the 2026–2027 school year will be held on Wednesday, May 20.

If you have a child who will turn 5 on or before October 15, 2026, please stop by the school office to pick up a registration packet and schedule a screening appointment. We look forward to meeting your child and partnering with your family as they begin their school journey with us!

Our 6th graders in Mrs. Brown’s GT class had an amazing opportunity attending Western Maine Discovery Day at the University of Maine at Farmington! Students explored new ideas, engaged in hands-on learning experiences, and represented our school so well throughout the day. 🎓✨

8th graders participated in an BARR I Time called Support Web. The purpose of this I Time is to help students identify the sources of support in their lives.

What is BARR?
BARR — Building Assets, Reducing Risks — is an evidence-based model that provides our school with a strength-based comprehensive approach to meeting the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students. BARR is the framework that provides us the opportunity to get to know each of our student's strengths and interests during a critical transition time in their education. As educators, we leverage the knowledge we gain through relationship building and I-Time in order to better engage and challenge our students.
