First day: ✔ (and what a great first day it was! )

Our hallways are full again, our buses are back on the road, and the sounds of students are officially back in our schools. From excited hellos to first-day nerves (and everything in between), it was so good to see our students back where they belong.

We’re excited to welcome four teacher residents from Delaware Technical Community College to the Milford School District!

Milford School District Food Pantry will be TODAY, Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Benjamin Banneker Elementary School (449 North Street, Milford).

Thanks to our partnership with the Harry K Foundation, eligible Milford School District families can receive food and household items to help support their households.

Please remember:
-You must live in or have a student enrolled in the Milford School District.
-Everyone must complete a Federal Food Commodities Program form, including the names and ages of everyone in the household.
-Bring proof of residence/home address (Driver's License, phone bill, or electric bill).
-Please bring your own bags.
-Park only in designated parking areas.

Due to inclement-weather conditions, tonight's Milford Public Library De Music In the Park concert will be held in the Dr. Gerald W. Thompson's Center of Performing Arts (MHS auditorium).

ATTENTION!!! Due to extreme heat forecast, tomorrow’s Music in the Park concert (July 15) will be held indoors at the Milford High School auditorium, located at 1019 N Walnut St, Milford, DE 19963.

Food that's in when school is out!

The Milford School District Summer Food Service Program will run Monday–Thursday, June 29 through July 30, 2026, providing free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 and under. No enrollment or registration is required!

Another incredible school year is officially in the books! On June 12, the Milford School District came together to celebrate our staff at our annual End-of-Year Celebration.

We kicked off the event with a performance from our talented music department and honored 11 retirees with more than 200 years of combined service to the District. We also proudly recognized our Teachers of the Year, Educational Support Professionals of the Year, Behavioral Health Professional of the Year, and MSD Treasures.

Thank you to all of our educators and support staff for your dedication to our students, schools, and district community. Your hard work makes a difference every day!
