Bev Uipi Millcreek City Councilwoman

Bev Uipi Millcreek City Councilwoman Bev Uipi is City Councilwoman in District 4 for Millcreek, Utah. I am seeking re-election November 2021. I am a proud, single mom of 17-year old, Xane.

Please 'like' the Millcreek Municial - Government page for more Millcreek City information, events, and more. As one of the original City Council members, I collaborated with colleagues, residents, and community partnerships to establish Millcreek as a new city. I am currently Council lead for the Policing in Millcreek matters and serve as Mayor Pro Tem. Our Uipi family has lived in Millc

reek District 4 for almost 40 years. My strengths come from 20 years of experience in leadership having served as Deputy Director for the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole; leading the Millcreek Community Center to accreditation, and Community Relations for Mayor Peter Corroon; with a B.S. degrees from the University of Georgia and Master’s from the University of Utah. My values with informed decision-making are compassion, community engagement, fiscal responsibility, transparency, and being a voice for seniors, children, non-traditional family structures, and diverse matters within Millcreek and for the future of our community. All city issues are important to me, but my focus are mainly in these areas:
Mental Health/Suicide Prevention
Public Safety
Community Engagement
Transparent Fiscal Responsibility
Economic Development

Vote Bev Uipi as your 1st choice on your ballots this November 2nd!

Millcreek celebrated Utah's Pacific Islander Heritage Month last weekend. Sincere appreciation to the committee for a great night of culture, food, and fun. We were a last stop of the Pōhaku Foundation tour on the mainland from the islands of the genealogy of all Pacific Islands. We are looking forward to having them back next year! Thanks again to sponsors and vendors. 🌺

The men and women of the Unified Fire Authority and the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake did an amazing job working three fires in Millcreek in 36 hours. We are so grateful for the effort on the hottest day of the year that was put in to control the fires and protect our community. Mayor Jackson and the City Council issued a Proclamation thanking all of the officers for their valiant efforts.
