welcomed Micheal Miller for Delaware State Treasurer candidate. He is a life long Delaware resident, has 2 businesses and ran for US House of Representatives. Mike champions financial literacy as well as transparency. The democratic primary is September 15,2026 so be sure to vote. 🗳️

Last night’s Sussex County Democratic Committee Spring Dinner was a well-attended event celebrating the accomplishments of the Democratic Party, recognizing both the challenges ahead and the opportunities before us, and supporting our 2026 federal, state, and county council candidates.
The 2026 Velda Scye Fearless Democrat Award was presented to Mary “Ginger” Speight.
Keynote speaker Joseph Lawson, Executive Director of the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice, delivered a powerful and inspiring message.
