What a great evening of connection and celebration! 🎉

On September 22, we gathered more than 82 people for UEDA’s Annual Community Gathering to connect with members, reflect on the past year, and recognize the people who help move our work forward.

🏆 Outstanding Community Partner Award: Adrian Spencer, Deputy Director at Rooted & Rising - Washington Park, for her continued partnership with UEDA, leadership with Take Root Milwaukee, and involvement with Carnival Milwaukee, NSP, Financial Health Network, and the RON Coalition.

🏆 Extraordinary Volunteer Award: Victor Frasher, Director of Community Engagement at Educators Credit Union, for his longstanding commitment to Bank On Greater Milwaukee, including his work with Earn & Learn and the Resource Guide.

We also recognized outgoing board member Michael Ward and thanked him for six years of service and support to UEDA. 💛

For two decades, Kristi has brought her dedication, heart and leadership to UEDA’s mission, our partners and our team. We couldn’t ask for a kinder, more joyful and genuine leader, especially during times like these.

Attendees walked away with a better understanding of today’s healthcare landscape, with some sharing that questions they’ve had for years were finally answered.
