At Cathedral Center, we are dedicated to supporting families in need, and right now, we are seeking donations of baby baths to help provide a safe and soothing environment for newborns.

A simple bath can bring comfort and peace to a little one, and with your generous contribution, we can make sure every baby feels cared for and loved. Your donation will directly impact families facing difficult times, giving them the tools they need to care for their newborns.

🗣 Today seems like a good day for an employee shout-out! Today we are showing our appreciation to our Supportive Services Director, Jenissee! Jenissee has been working at CCI for 4.5 years and began as a Community Case Manager.

🤝 Jenissee had some valuable things to say about her experience at The Cathedral Center. She said, "working with folks struggling with housing insecurity has really changed my perspective on life. It’s taught me empathy and gratitude and shows me the struggles others face daily. I’ve gained valuable skills in communication and problem-solving, and it’s been rewarding to make a positive impact in my community. Overall, it’s been a humbling experience that has enriched my life in many ways."

🎅 Happy Friday everyone! This week The Cathedral Center celebrated our annual holiday party at Barbiere's Italian Inn on Bluemound and it was a very special night.

🍝 The evening started off with delicious salad and pasta and ended with a hilarious White Elephant game and some sweet treats!

💕 Thank you CCI family for joining us for this fun night and thank you to those who continued to work so that we could get together. Also, thank you, thank you to Barbiere's Italian Inn for taking such amazing care of us. Happy holidays everyone!

🗣 It's shout-out time! Today we are showing our appreciation for our Grants & Contracts Manager, Austin! Austin has been with CCI for three months but has already been a tremendous help in furthering our mission.

💪 Austin described his experience so far as positive, saying, "I've already seen more success as a fundraiser at Cathedral Center than I have at any of my previous jobs. I've gained a lot of confidence in my abilities as a result."

❄️ It's getting cold outside and we are in need of large and extra-large winter coats. Many of our clients utilize public transportation for school and work opportunities which means there are times when they are waiting outside.

We do this by connecting clients with mental health services and hosting motivational workshops that build emotional resilience and practical skills.

🗣 It's time for another employee appreciation post! Today we are giving a shout-out to our Executive and HR Assistant, Christy! Christy has been with The Cathedral Center for 4.5 years and has some amazing perspective on our mission.

💕 Christy shared her experience, and what makes her passionate about what we do. "I have experienced category 2 homelessness on two separate occasions. Both times were circumstances out of my control. I was able to gain a deeper empathy and compassion for people experiencing a housing crisis because I have also experienced one. I will say it definitely makes me extremely grateful to have stable housing, and a safe place to call my home."
