What happens when the foundation disappears?
Joann Harris-Comodore, Founder and CEO of Neu-Life, has been working with youth for over 25 years, and she’s noticed a critical pattern: young adults frequently return to Neu-Life seeking community, even after they ‘age out’ of traditional programming at 18.
As Joann beautifully notes, the transition to adulthood doesn’t happen overnight, and the need for stability doesn’t expire on an 18th birthday.
That is why we conceived NeuVue:
- The Impact: 36 workforce housing apartments (from studios to 2-bedrooms).
- The Target: Young adults ages 18–24.
- The Requirement: Being ‘on track’ whether that means working a job, attending a trade program, or finishing school.
NeuVue is a collaborative ecosystem designed to ensure Milwaukee’s young adults don’t have to navigate the complexities of early adulthood alone.
