The Mitchell Parks and Rec Board is excited to assist the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce in the Persimmon 5K Walk, Run and Fun Run on September 26th. This event is part of the Mag 7 Race Series and will kick off the last day of events for the 79th Annual Persimmon Festival. Register with the link below:

🚲🌟 Zoom to the Moon Bike Parade! 🌟🚲

Celebrate America’s 250th this 4th of July with a fun-filled event just for kids! 🇺🇸

Join us for the “Zoom to the Moon” Bike Parade—a festive ride for children Preschool through 5th grade!

📅 Saturday, July 4
⏰ 10:00 AM
📍 Begins at Mitchell High School
🏁 Ends at City Park

🎉 This is a FREE community event, so bring the family and join the fun!

✨ Get creative and come parade-ready:
• Decorate your bike with patriotic flair
• Make a homemade “license plate” for your bike
• Bring along a horn, bell, or other fun noise-maker
