Thank you to all who made our first four on-site registration days a success! Below is information about our new student registration and makeup registration.

Registration for students new to the feeder pattern or new to MCPSS will be tomorrow, Thursday, July 30 from 8AM until 12PM as previously advertised.

Makeup registration for all grade levels will be held on Thursday, August 6 from 8AM until 12M.

On both of these dates, registration will take place in the Baker High School cafeteria. Please use the main entrance of the school for the easiest access.

The following items will be available for purchase at registration over the coming week.

1. Yearbook: $85
2. Baker Spirit T-Shirt: $25
3. Baker Senior T-Shirt: $20
4. Baker Long Sleeved Spirit T-Shirt: $30
5. Clear Bookbags: $20

Additionally, Baker High School PTO will have spirit items for sale. Please see their page for these details and information about PTO membership.

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year begins this week. All students and parents will enter the building for registration using the doors on the concourse (near the gym).

Fees that will be collected at registration include:
1. Registration Fee: $30 for all grades
2. Senior Fee: $40
3. Yondr Pouch Fee: $25 for all grades
4. Parking Pass Fee: $75 for grades 11 and 12

The registration fee and Yondr fee will be payable via cash, check, or card. The parking pass fee must be paid with cash or check.

If you intend to purchase a parking pass, you must have the following documentation:
1. Current School Schedule (will be provided at registration)
2. Current Driver's License
3. Proof of Insurance
4. Vehicle Registration
5. 6. Signed Drug Consent Form (will be provided at registration)

8. $75 fee (If paying with check, make payable to Baker High School- include your phone number on check.)

Baker High School is proud to announce Lacey Sumerlin Bosarge as the new head coach of Baker Softball!

Coach Bosarge is a familiar face to the Baker community and the Honeybee Softball program. A Baker graduate and former Honeybee standout, she spent six years as a varsity player under legendary Head Coach Tony Scarborough. During her time at Baker, she was named Alabama Gatorade Softball Player of the Year before continuing her collegiate career at the University of Georgia, where she was a two-year SEC starter and earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors. She later finished her playing career at the University of Southern Mississippi, earning First Team All-Conference honors in both seasons.

Coach Bosarge brings three years of head coaching experience from Theodore High School and returned to Baker two seasons ago as an assistant coach. She now steps into the role of head coach, leading the program that helped shape her as both a player and a person.

As a former Honeybee, Coach Bosarge is honored to give back to the program that gave so much to her. She is committed to building a culture where young women become better teammates, better leaders, and better people, believing the habits, standards, and character developed through softball will serve them long after they leave Baker.

The College Board recently released scores from Advanced Placement exams taken in May 2026. We are thrilled to announce that our students achieved at an exceptional level again this year!

Baker High School students earned 555 qualifying scores of 3 or higher and 76 scores of 5, the highest possible score. We are so proud of our students and their teachers for their hard work that led to these accomplishments!

We know we gave Labaron Philon his flowers on draft night. But, Labaron gave the love back during his introductory press conference where he showed appreciation for his time at Baker High School and the support he received. We are so proud to see Labaron’s dream come true!

Please see the information regarding both online and in person registration for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents and guardians should complete online registration ASAP. Below you will find the Baker High School uniform policy for the 2026-2027 school year. Please be sure to read and adhere to all of the components of the school uniform. Per MCPSS policy, students must use clear bookbags and no hoodies are allowed on campus. In compliance with the state of Alabama's Focus Act, no personal digital devices are allowed unless they are securely locked in the Yondr pouch.
