Today, we celebrated our amazing Eagles who showed up throughout August ON TIME, READY TO LEARN, and demonstrating GREAT BEHAVIOR! 🌟📚

Our students enjoyed a day filled with FUN, LAUGHTER, and CELEBRATION—and they earned every minute of it! 🎈🥳

A HUGE thank you to our Family Intervention Team and the Mobile Police Department for helping make today extra special for our students! Your support, time, and commitment to our Eagles and school community are truly appreciated. 💙🤝

Your child will come home today with a SchoolStore lanyard and information about how you can help support our school!

Every student who participates helps provide valuable resources and supplies for our classrooms. Through the SchoolStore program, families and friends can also support classrooms through Caring for Classrooms gift cards, which teachers can use to purchase books, STEM materials, supplies, and other educational resources.

It’s easy to participate! Scan the QR code on the information sent home or visit SchoolStore.net to sign up. Once you complete the sign-up process, write your Prize Code on the form and have your child return it to school.

Dear George Hall Families,

As we enter our fourth week of school, it is imperative that parents and guardians regularly check their child’s academic progress, grades, assignments, and attendance. Staying informed allows us to work together to identify concerns early, celebrate growth, and ensure that every student receives the support needed to succeed. Please communicate with your child’s teacher if you have questions or concerns regarding their progress.

👟 We’re Stepping Into September!
September begins our STEPtember Attendance Challenge: “Show Up, Dress Up & STEP Into Success!” Each school day will feature a fun theme reminding students of the importance of coming to school every day, arriving on time, being ready to learn, and making great choices. Please review the attached STEPtember calendar so your child can participate!

📚 This Week at George Hall:

Literacy Screeners: We will continue administering literacy screeners this week. These assessments help us identify students’ strengths and areas where additional instructional support may be needed.

👕 T-Shirt Preorder Reminder! Tomorrow is the final day to preorder your George Hall T-shirt! Shirts are $15 for Youth Small through Adult XL and $18 for sizes 2XL and larger. Be sure to place your order before the deadline!

🏆 August Attendance Celebration – Friday: Students who attended school daily, arrived on time, were ready to learn, and demonstrated great behavior during August will participate in a special celebration!

🇺🇸 Monday, September 7 – Labor Day: No School

📸 Friday, September 11 – School Picture Day: Students should come to school in their school uniform and ready to smile!

🏫 Monday, September 14 at 5:00 p.m. – Title I Parent Meeting: Join us in the George Hall gym to learn more about our Title I program, school goals, resources, and how families can partner with us for student success.
