Our bilingual storytime last week was extra special as we celebrated the release of our painted lady butterflies. We loved watching these little creatures grow at the library, from tiny caterpillars to chrysalises and finally to butterflies. What better way to celebrate than with stories, songs, and a release party?

This Week at the Library! Regular Tech Help is back on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Teen Lounge is also happening this week on Tuesday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm, all teens are invited to enjoy a hangout space complete with gaming and snacks. 📚

On Saturday we have a special program for all fellow Practical Magic fans! Join us for a watch party of the classic 1998 film while making witchy crafts. 🌚🔮

This week at the library we have Bilinual Storytime on Tuesday (10:30am). Paws to Read on Thursday (3:30pm), The Board of Library Trustees also meets this Thursday (4pm). The weeks ends Snakes! during Sewing with Julia on Friday (4:30pm) and on Saturday we have our quarterlky Puzzle Exchange (10am) Bring your gently used puzzles and exchange them with another. Please make sure that all puzzles are securely packaged. We can't wait to see you at the library!

The numbers are in! Thanks to our community of readers, dedicated staff and volunteers, our Summer Reading Program grew in many ways. This year, we saw BIG increases in overall sign-ups, finishers, programs offered, programs attended, and total minutes read.

A very special THANK YOU to our incredible teen interns, who contributed a total of 710 hours this summer! Your hard work, energy, and dedication made a huge difference.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who participated, encouraged a reader, attended a program, or simply made reading part of your summer. You helped us plant the seeds for a lifelong love of reading. 🌱📚💜
