The Jasper County Board of Education will hold a special called meeting next week in order to interview candidates for the position of Superintendent. The meetings will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 4PM. The interviews will be held at the Jasper County Board of Education Annex building located at 1393 Funderburg Drive, Monticello Georgia.

Jasper County Charter System has announced its intention to destroy special education records of students born between August 1, 2000 – May 31, 2004.

In accordance with state and federal regulations implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), this notice is to inform you of Jasper County Charter System’s intent to destroy personally identifiable information related to special
education services maintained on students who received special education services under an Individual Education Plan while attending Jasper County Charter System. These records are no longer needed for educational planning purposes. Please be advised that the records may be needed by you for social security benefits or other purposes.

If you wish to maintain this information for your personal records, please contact Kerri Moseley at 706-468-4951 Ext. 7100. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to have records ready for pick-up. Identification will be required to receive these records.

Records will be destroyed on June 16, 2026

El Sistema Charter del Condado de Jasper ha anunciado su intención de destruir los registros de educación especial de los estudiantes nacidos entre el 1 de agosto de 2000 y el 31 de mayo de 2004.

De acuerdo con las regulaciones estatales y federales que implementan la Ley de Educación de Personas con Discapacidades (IDEA), este aviso es para informarle de la intención del Sistema de Cartas del Condado de Jasper de destruir la información de identificación personal relacionada con los servicios de educación especial mantenidos en los estudiantes que recibieron servicios de educación especial bajo un Plan de Educación Individual mientras asistían al Sistema de Cartas del Condado de Jasper.

🎉 That’s a wrap on another incredible school year!

Today marks the last day of school, and we couldn’t be prouder of all our students, staff, and families for the hard work, growth, and memories made this year. From classroom achievements to performances, competitions, and celebrations, this year was filled with moments that showcased the strength of our school community. 💜

As summer begins, we hope everyone takes time to relax, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved break with family and friends. 🏖️☀️🍉
