🚒 A friendly reminder, don't block the hydrant.

We get it, parking is tough sometimes. But blocking a fire hydrant isn't just a ticketable offense; it can put lives at risk and your car in a tough spot. Literally.

Here's what you risk:
Fines, a broken window so hoses can pass through your vehicle, 🚗 Your car being towed at your expense, ⏱️ Delayed response time when every second counts

Stay at least 15 feet from any fire hydrant when parking. It's a small ask that makes a big difference. Share this with someone who needs the reminder. 👇

Four helmets. One truck.

🖤 Today we remember. At Monument Fire District, we take a moment to remember our military community, honoring all who gave their lives in service to this country.

To the fallen, your sacrifice is not forgotten. Your names live on.

🚑 It's National EMS Week, a chance to shine a light on a side of our work the community doesn't always see.

When you call 911, our paramedics and EMTs are often the first ones through the door. They assess, treat, and stabilize, making critical decisions in moments that matter most.

Here's what that looks like at Monument Fire District:
🫀 Advanced life support care on scene
🩹 Treatment for trauma, cardiac emergencies, strokes, and more
👶 From pediatric emergencies to geriatric care, we're trained for all of it
🤝 Seamless handoffs to hospital teams so your care never skips a beat

This week, we honor the men and women who bring the emergency room to your front door. We're proud to serve this community every call, every time.
