⚠️ WEATHER ADVISORY: STAY SAFE, MONONGALIA COUNTY
The recent severe weather has caused significant damage across our area. Crews are actively responding, but we need your help to keep our community safe.

Please keep the following top of mind if you must travel:
Trees & Wires Down: Multiple areas are experiencing fallen trees and active power lines. Never approach a downed wire—assume all downed lines are live and dangerous.
Traffic Signals Out: A reminder that any traffic light completely out must be treated as a four-way stop. Proceed with absolute caution.
Flooded Roadways: Standing water can be much deeper than it appears. Turn around, don't drown.

Please slow down, give emergency crews space to work, and keep an eye out for one another.
