It was an absolutely beautiful day to drive to Abingdon, VA. We stopped for a delicious buffet lunch at The Fiddler’s Restaurant. Then on to the Barter Theatre to see “Come From Away”. The show was amazing!! It is based on the true story of Gander, Newfoundland ‘s hospitality to all the flights grounded there on 9/11. Wonderful production!!

We have had Another wonderful day! We honored Dolly today with a Dolly Social. We had a Best Dolly dressed contest. Ms Anita was our winner. Then we voted on our Favorite Dolly Song. We started with the top 10 Dolly songs and went down to one-“I Will Always Love You”! Afterwards we enjoyed some of Dolly’s favorite snacks- pimento cheese sandwiches and banana pudding. We finished our day with New Road 2 and their “Legends Show”. They sang some Dolly songs and some from other legends.

We encourage you to dress in Dolly attire-Dolly t-shirts; rhinestones, butterflies, etc.
