The SUN Summer Nutrition Programs for Kids is offering bulk meal pick-ups this June to keep our students healthy and fed all summer long! Each bag includes 7 days worth of meals for anyone under the age of 18.

The Union Heights Beta Club just returned from visiting the Cincinnati Zoo, a Reds game at the Great American Ballpark, Kings Island, Churchill Downs, and the Kentucky Horse Park.

It was a wonderful trip and we cannot wait for the next one!

Great job to our Scholar’s Bowl Team!

This wonderful group of students worked hard studying and practicing to compete in the district competition. They represented Union Heights well, and we are so proud of them!

Union Heights definitely isn’t ready to say goodbye to this amazing teacher!

Mrs. Cindy Turner is everything you want your teacher to be. She loves each and every one of her students, sees and loves every student for who they are, and makes sure every student gets exactly what they need to be successful in her class. She is irreplaceable, and we will miss her tremendously.

Mrs. Turner, we hope you enjoy your retirement to its fullest. You’ve earned it!

⭐️A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO leader for making Teacher Appreciation Week so special! Teachers enjoyed breakfast, a Candy/Treat Bar, Hat Bar, Bouquet Bar, Dirty Sodas, and other treats! We truly feel appreciated and are grateful for everything that you do for our teachers and school community! ❤️🍎🌪
⭐️The school also treated teachers to a delicious catered lunch on Friday!!
⭐️Shout-out to Rocky Top Sodas for being a part of our week!🥤
⭐️Shout-out to Home Depot for providing the plants and flowers for the bouquet bar.🌺

Field Day Reminder!

Field Day will be held on Monday, May 11!

PK-2: 8:30-11:00
3-5: 11:30-2:30

If it rains, field day will be held in the gym!

Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow and the inability to secure an adequate alternate location to safely accommodate competitors, parents/guardians, and guests, the Elite Fitness Competition was originally canceled.

However, after speaking with participating schools, it became clear that students still wanted the opportunity to compete, given the hard work and preparation they had put into this event.

As a result, a modified Elite Fitness Competition will take place tomorrow.

• Large elementary schools will compete at Manley Intermediate
• Small elementary schools will compete at Union Heights

Due to limited seating and facility capacity, attendance will be limited to participating athletes and school staff previously scheduled to support the event.

Parents/guardians and other guests will not be admitted.

We understand this is not how we would normally host this event, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to provide students the opportunity to compete in the safest and most feasible way possible under the circumstances.
