Moundsville Middle School and its PBIS team exceeded standards to be recognized as a 2026 Tier 1 Model School this year by the WV PBIS Team. Moundsville has been designated a Model School for the past four years. According to the WV PBIS Team, Moundsville Middle continues to be a shining example of the Model Schools initiative. Their implementation of best practices, commitment to a multi-tiered system of support, and data-driven decision-making have made them a true model for PBIS Tier 1 practices.

Students in Honors ELA8 successfully made it to Mars today in a simulated experience at Wheeling University. They also put their math and physics skills to the test using the laws of motion, mass and acceleration!
Lunch was amazing and we topped the day off with Starbucks!
