We recently put new extrication tools on our fire engines, expanding our ability to extricate victims. Thanks to the volunteer firefighters and their hard work. Each fire department association donated funds to purchase these tools. Funds were provided by part by you, our community as you support the volunteer firefighter associations with your generous donations. Thank you!

Great work setting up traffic control and extinguishing a vehicle fire by your volunteer firefighters last night just before our weekly training. The driver wasn't hurt, but the car is a loss.

Great teamwork today, as Dist 3, 2, 9, 4, Sedro-Woolley, Mount Vernon and North County Fire departments worked to extinguish this stubborn fire in District 15. This fire burned for several hours, and caused Highway 9 to be down to one lane for most of the day. Thanks again to all involved.
