We were so happy to be visited by Tiffany and Dee from Bridge Coordination Services. The organization serves as Domestic Violence Victim Coordinators and does an incredible job supporting and assisting victims of domestic violence in our community.

Strong partnerships like these help make our community safer and stronger for everyone. Thank you, Tiffany and Dee, for taking the time to visit with us and for the compassion and dedication you bring to this vital work.

And thanks for the yummy donuts too!

Recently, Detective Hamilton had the opportunity to speak with a psychology class at Kamiak High School about what it’s like working as a detective. Students asked great questions and got some insight into investigations, police work, and the day-to-day responsibilities that come with the job.

We always appreciate opportunities like this to connect with students and make a positive impact in our community.

This Memorial Day, the Mukilteo Police Department honors and remembers the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice made possible the freedoms we enjoy today, and we are grateful for their courage, dedication, and selflessness.

Our lobby will be closed in recognition of the holiday.

As we head into the warmer months, we'd like to remind everyone to make traffic safety a priority on our roadways.

We continue to see issues with speeding throughout the city, especially during the summer season. Higher speeds put drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and families at risk. Please slow down, stay alert, and help keep our streets safe for everyone.

Officers will also be monitoring for vehicles with excessively loud or modified mufflers.

We appreciate the community’s cooperation and will continue working to keep Mukilteo safe and enjoyable for all.

Mukilteo Police officers recently participated in defensive tactics training as part of our ongoing commitment to safety, professionalism, and readiness.

This session, we were honored to be joined by Mukilteo City Council Member Donna Vago, who took the time to observe and support our team. We appreciate her continued interest in the work our officers do and the training that goes into serving our community.

A special thank you to our instructors for providing valuable, realistic training that helps ensure our officers are prepared to respond safely and effectively.

We’re proud to serve Mukilteo and will continue investing in training that strengthens our ability to protect our community.

The Mukilteo Police Department is proud to once again take part in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run—an event we look forward to every single year!

We love supporting the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Washington , and we’re honored to help raise funds for such an amazing cause. We will receive the torch from Everett Police Department, run our portion (about 5 miles), and then pass the torch to Lynnwood WA Police Department.

Thanks to the overwhelming support from our community, we’re currently 3rd in the state for fundraising… and that’s especially impressive considering we’re a small department team! 💙

Mukilteo always shows up in a big way, and we’re grateful to be part of a community that consistently rallies around something so positive and impactful.

If you’d like to support our Torch Run team and help us keep climbing the leaderboard, you can donate here:

Thank you for helping us support these outstanding athletes!

Spotlight on Our 2024 “Chief for a Day” – Hayden McKeon

We’re excited to celebrate our 2024 Chief for a Day, Hayden McKeon, who is taking the stage in a big way! Hayden will be starring as Elsa in Frozen Jr. and we couldn’t be more proud of her.

Hayden is an impressive, resilient, and incredible young person, and it’s been an honor to have her as part of the Mukilteo Police Department family. We love seeing her shine in our community and now on stage as well!

Performances will be held at the Kamiak Performing Arts Center (PAC) from May 21st – May 23rd. If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family, come out and support Hayden and the entire cast.
