📣 Community Worship Night Coming to Neligh!

Abundant Life Christian Center invites the community to come together for an evening of food, worship, fellowship, and fun on Wednesday, September 23.

🌭 Hot Dog Supper: 6:30 PM
🎶 Community Worship: 7:00–8:00 PM
📍 Abundant Life Christian Center, 1101 L Street, Neligh

This free, all-ages event is open to everyone, including families, teens, adults, churches, and all denominations throughout the area.

There will also be prize drawings highlighting local Neligh businesses, with several chances to win throughout the evening. You must be present to win!

There is no charge to attend. Come enjoy an evening of worship and community in Neligh!

🎉 Old Mill Days is almost here! 🎉

Neligh is ready for several days filled with community fun, great events, local tradition, and hometown pride during Old Mill Days, June 28th through July 5th!

A huge thank you to the Neligh Young Men's Club for the incredible amount of time, planning, and hard work it takes to organize and pull off this multi-day celebration each year. Events like this do not happen without dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes to bring the community together.

From pancake feeds and live music to the parade, local musem and attraction tours, kids’ activities, food, fireworks, and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Please come out, support the events, thank the volunteers, and celebrate the Spirit of Neligh!

🌾 The Neligh Mill is in the spotlight!

Thank you to 10/11 NOW and Pure Nebraska for sharing the story of the Neligh Mill State Historic Site and the important role it continues to play in preserving Nebraska’s milling heritage.

Built in 1873 by John D. Neligh, founder of the City of Neligh, the Mill remains one of Nebraska’s rare historic treasures. Visitors can still see the original 1800s milling equipment and learn how flour was produced along the Elkhorn River more than 150 years ago.

The story also features Don “Harv" Ofe, site supervisor at the Neligh Mill, who has dedicated more than 35 years to preserving and sharing the history of this special place. His knowledge and passion help bring the Mill’s story to life for visitors of all ages.

The Neligh Mill is open during the tourist season Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Guided tours are available and offer a look at the milling process from start to finish.

We are proud to have this historic gem right here in Neligh.
