We are excited to welcome Kyle Francom as our new Principal of Juab Jr. High School.

Kyle brings six years of administrative experience to Juab Jr. High, following 10 years of teaching in both special education and general financial literacy. He is a student-centered administrator who is passionate about helping students learn, grow, and achieve great things. He also spent 16 years coaching basketball.

Kyle and his wife, Carlene, recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary and are the proud parents of four children—three girls and one boy—ranging in age from 14 to 21.

Kyle and his family enjoy sports, especially basketball, golf, and volleyball. He is also an avid BYU football fan. Their family loves traveling and spending time outdoors, including hiking and snorkeling.

Kyle is excited to join Juab Jr. High and is looking forward to getting to know students, staff, families, and the school community. We are thrilled to welcome Kyle and his family to Juab!

As wildfire season begins, our 6th grade science students took a closer look at the impact wildfires have on people, wildlife, and ecosystems. Through research and creativity, students explored wildfire prevention, safety, and ways communities can help reduce risks. 🔥🌲

Students then created educational posters to help spread awareness and inform our community. We’re excited to share the winning posters and celebrate the hard work these students put into their projects! Great job to all of Mrs. Shepherd’s & Mrs. Peterson’s classes! 👏

We are excited to officially welcome Nicole Bender as a teacher at JJHS!

Nicole has been part of the Juab Junior High family for the past 10 years as an instructional assistant. Her experience working with students inspired her to go back to school and earn her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. Nicole is excited to be teaching 6th grade Social Studies along with 7th & 8th grade Art. She loves helping students build confidence, express their creativity, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Outside of school, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, birdwatching, and spoiling her grandbaby. We are excited to have her continue making a difference at JJHS! ❤️
