As we get ready for an amazing school year, here are a few important dates to keep on your calendar:

📍 August 10
• New Student Registration
• Counselors begin reviewing schedule change requests submitted through the online form.

📍 August 17
• Back to School Night (6th Grade & New Students)
🕡 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Meet teachers, tour the campus, and get ready for the first day!

📍 August 19
🎉 First Day of School!
School begins with a regular A-Day schedule. Students will start the day in their 1A class.

📚✨ Please join us in welcoming Kara Adams back to Juab Jr. High School!

Kara was born and raised in Utah and is the proud mom of five amazing kids who attend Juab School District. After previously teaching 7th grade math at JJHS and spending time on an incredible adventure in Alaska, she’s returning to teach 8th Grade Math!

Kara holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and is currently working toward her Master’s in Mathematics. She has taught students in grades 1–8, but her heart has always been with middle schoolers and their fun, spunky personalities.

We’re so excited to welcome Kara back to the Wasp family and can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll have on our students this year. Welcome back, Kara! 💛❤️🐝

Our Welcome Letter was emailed out today! Be sure to check your inbox, and don’t forget to look in your junk or spam folder.

Once you’ve received it:
✅ Log in to PowerSchool to complete online registration.
📚 View your student’s class schedule.
📱 Reminder: Students must complete online registration before receiving their school iPad. Please have all registration forms submitted by August 18.

Counselors will be available beginning August 5 to answer questions.
📝 Schedule change requests begin August 10 .

🎉 Welcome to Juab Jr. High, Mrs. Lacie Christensen! ❤️💛

We are excited to welcome Lacie Christensen to the JJHS family as our new Special Education teacher!

Originally from Washington, Utah, Mrs. Christensen has called Santaquin home for the past 13 years. She is currently earning her master’s degree in Special Education through WGU and is passionate about helping students build confidence, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential.

Mrs. Christensen and her husband have four wonderful children, along with two dogs and three cats that keep life fun and busy! Outside of school, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and watching movies.

Please join us in giving Mrs. Christensen a warm JJHS welcome! We are excited to have her on our team and look forward to the positive impact she will make in the lives of our students. ❤️💛

We are excited to welcome Kyle Francom as our new Principal of Juab Jr. High School.

Kyle brings six years of administrative experience to Juab Jr. High, following 10 years of teaching in both special education and general financial literacy. He is a student-centered administrator who is passionate about helping students learn, grow, and achieve great things. He also spent 16 years coaching basketball.

Kyle and his wife, Carlene, recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary and are the proud parents of four children—three girls and one boy—ranging in age from 14 to 21.

Kyle and his family enjoy sports, especially basketball, golf, and volleyball. He is also an avid BYU football fan. Their family loves traveling and spending time outdoors, including hiking and snorkeling.

Kyle is excited to join Juab Jr. High and is looking forward to getting to know students, staff, families, and the school community. We are thrilled to welcome Kyle and his family to Juab!
