CPC Brownfield Program is a standing partner with Limitless Vistas (LVI) on their EPA Brownfields Training Grant awarded to LVI this and last year. To further this partnership, CPC Brownfields Program created this continuing bi-annual event to further support LVI’s incredible work. This series of events includes local professionals in various environmental fields coming together to present, offer guidance, information and potential career opportunities to LVI students graduating with certifications in various environmental fields
and looking for next steps.
These fields include supervisory environmental field positions, asbestos abatement, wetland protection, coastal erosion mitigation, urban agriculture and many others. This partnership will serve as a bridge from certification to career, from labor shortage on brownfield/development sites to local jobs for local residents, directly in Orleans Parish.
