We have partnered with Kona Ice this year to have them on campus once a month, starting on Thursday, September 3rd, as a fundraiser for our school. Kona Ice will be on campus during all lunches, from 11:00-1:15 and students will enjoy their treat during their recess time. You MUST pre-pay for your order by 11:00pm the night before. Unfortunately, they CANNOT accept any orders after that time and orders WILL NOT be accepted the day of the event. You can order by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to one of our amazing parents, Cory Osborn, for generously donating his time, talent, and materials to create beautiful murals in both of our sensory rooms. His artwork has transformed these spaces into welcoming, engaging environments that will benefit our students for years to come.

We are incredibly grateful for community members like him who go above and beyond to support our school. Thank you for helping to make Moon Lake Elementary an even more special place to learn and grow!

FYI for our families with children in middle/high school- their Meet the Teacher Day is Friday, August 7th.

Tina Russell Ministries is hosting an upcoming Back to School Block Party. This community event provides local families with essential resources, including clothing, shoes, and backpacks, to help students prepare for a successful school year.

Event Details & Resources:
• Supplies: Complimentary school clothes and backpacks will be available for up to 25 registered students.
• Activities: The event features music, games, and community activities.
• Food: Food truck options will be available, with complimentary meals provided to the first 50 attendees.

Registration Information:
To ensure your student is entered into the giveaway, families must complete the two-step registration process ahead of time. Supplies are limited by size availability, and the child must be present to collect them. Registration is completed on their event page on Facebook.
