The 2026-2027 school year is almost here! Our new 8th graders got a chance to see their new school on Thursday night, touring the high school and meeting their teachers as a part of the annual 8th Grade Orientation!

The Newark Valley boys soccer team is getting their season underway this afternoon! The Cardinals will begin the 2026 campaign with a showdown against Groton!

This match is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm at NVHS! Go Cardinals! 🔴⚫

Schedule:
6:00-6:25: Auditorium – Welcome and Introduction of Staff

6:25-6:30: Students pick up their class schedules
**Schedules will be mailed home if you cannot attend orientation

6:30-7:10: Students/families visit classrooms and get acquainted with the building

7:15-7:30: Refreshments in the multi-purpose room

School begins next week, and NTH Elementary School is ready! Come on out on Wednesday, September 9th from 1:30-2:30pm for the annual Meet and Greet! 🎒

Students and families have the chance to meet their teachers and see their new classrooms ahead of the new school year! ✏️

Ten years ago, the Newark Valley Cardinals captured their first-ever football state championship in perfect 13-0 fashion! 🏆

On Friday, September 11, we’ll welcome the members of the 2016 State Championship team back to Newark Valley as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their incredible season! 🏈

Join us at halftime of the Cardinals’ game against Whitney Point on Sept. 11 as we honor the players and coaches who made history for Newark Valley!
