We are so grateful for the opportunity to host during The Department of Women & Gender Studies’ annual Ida B. Wells lecture last month. Chanel’s talk highlighted the importance of survivor-centered advocacy and the healing nature of joy and community. Chanel is the author of Know My Name, as well as several children’s books.
