We are a 100% volunteer fire company dedicated to protecting lives and property.

With pride and commitment, we serve our community through emergency response, fire prevention, and public service—driven by duty, compassion, and teamwork.

10/28/2026

Today we recognize and thank all of our first responders who answer the call, often leaving their families, jobs and everyday lives behind to help others.

To our firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, law enforcement, dispatchers and all who serve our communities, thank you for your dedication, sacrifices and willingness to show up when others need you most.

From all of us at NewBrook Fire & Rescue, thank you for serving and protecting our communities.

🚨BURN BAN🚨

A burn ban is currently in effect for Newfane, Brookline, Williamsville and South Newfane. Please do not burn while the ban is in effect.

With surrounding states currently battling significant brushfires, we want to remind everyone to remain vigilant and stay informed about current fire danger levels and burn restrictions here in Vermont.

Dry conditions, low humidity, and wind can cause fires to spread quickly and become difficult to control. Always contact your local fire warden before burning and follow all current restrictions.

Please check the Vermont Fire Danger Forecast daily: https://fpr.vermont.gov/forest/wildland-fire/monitoring-fire-danger

While we do our best to share updates, we only have one volunteer with access to our page, and they do not always have time to post about conditions every day. Do not rely solely on our page for the latest information.

Help us keep our communities safe. A small fire can quickly become a big problem!

Congratulations to our Rescue Captain, Eric Wilson, on being named a 2026 Star of Life recipient! This well-deserved recognition reflects his dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to serving others. We’re proud to have him on our team and grateful for the difference he makes in keeping our community safe. Congratulations Eric, on this outstanding achievement!

The American Ambulance Association has selected Assistant Chief Eric Wilson as a 2026 Star of Life recipient!
.

Assistant Chief Wilson became a licensed Paramedic in 2018 and has steadily taken on greater responsibility throughout his career. As Assistant Chief, he helps oversee operations across a service area spanning nearly 500 square miles, where rural geography can add significant complexity to emergency response. His steady leadership helps ensure that crews, resources, and operations remain prepared to meet the needs of communities throughout the region.

We are very proud of Eric and his deep contributions to our organization over the years. Help us congratulate him! Eric and Emily will join the Chief in DC next month for the presentation of awards.

What a successful coin drop this year! We can’t thank everyone enough for making it such a success!

A huge thank you to our members who spent 6+ hours out in the road both days, those inside sorting and counting, and everyone who kept us all fed throughout the weekend. We couldn’t do it without all of you!

And an even BIGGER thank you to everyone who donated and supported our department. Your generosity means so much to us and helps us continue serving our communities.

Thank you all for another great year! ❤️

And this is where your boot drop donations go! Our littlest volunteer is making sure they get where they need to go! 😂❤️
