Bravo Zulu to Station Castle Hill’s crew! 🚤⚓️
Yesterday, the crew launched a 45-foot Response Boat–Medium after receiving a report of a vessel in distress near Brenton Reef. The crew quickly located the disabled boat drifting towards breaking seas, safely recovered the mariner, and transported him back to the station where he was transferred to Newport Fire Department personnel for care.
Outstanding work by the crew in carrying out the Coast Guard’s lifesaving mission! 💪🇺🇸
