TRAVEL ADVISORY: This evening, August 18, 2026, work will begin in the eastbound lanes of the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge for scheduled replacement of the bridge joints. As with the work on the westbound side, travel plates will cover the work area during the day, creating bumps. We ask drivers to follow the posted signs and drive slowly through the work area.

Work in the westbound lanes is complete.
