JAMESTOWN VERRAZZANO BRIDGE TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Beginning Tuesday, August 18 at 7 PM, bridge joint replacement work will shift to the eastbound side toward Jamestown and Newport.Work will take place Sunday through Thursday, 7 PM to 7 AM.Motorists should travel through the work zone at the recommended 25 mph and expect reduced speeds and possible delays. Raised protective structures will remain over the joints, allowing both lanes to stay open outside active construction hours. Please use caution and allow extra travel time.

Good morning Jamestown!

I hope you all had an wonderful 4th of July ! The Jamestown Rocket 'hogs are in contact with our vendor for the fireworks and barge which is currently scheduled for Monday July 6th at 9pm

Our rain date is Tuesday July 7th but I have reservations due to 35% chance of rain and 15 mph NE wind.

The vendors would like to wait until Monday morning to finalize a decision. I hope to convince them to decide sooner and also consider Thursday July 9th as an alternative.

I will keep everyone posted, and thank you for your understanding.
