Hazardous Waste Day

Cass County Household Hazardous Waste and Used Tire Collection is scheduled for April 4, 2026. Major appliances like refrigerators and washing machines will not be accepted. Air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and fireworks are also not accepted. They also do not accept used motor oil and fire extinguishers. Ammunition and bio-hazards are not allowed either. Propane tanks larger than 20 pounds will not be accepted.
