This past weekend, the University of Notre Dame Army ROTC program commissioned twenty-two Second Lieutenants into the United States Army.

The Class of 2026 produced 7 Distinguished Military Graduates, 4 Air Assault wings, 3 Recondo badges at CST, and 6 Educational Delays (4 medical, 2 law). From Sandhurst and CST to varsity football, internships, and study abroad programs, these new 2LTs represented the Fightin’ Irish Battalion with excellence in every arena.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 and our Army’s newest officers. Best of luck as you begin the next chapter of service and leadership. Irish Forever. ☘️🇺🇸

CALLING ALL ALUMNI, STUDENTS, FAMILY, FRIENDS, FACULTY, ETC. We are thrilled to announce our UND AROTC Hall of Fame Inaugural Nomination Window, open from 16-31 MAY. Our program would not be where it is today without the officers and leaders who came before us and helped pave the way to excellence. We are honored to celebrate their legacy and impact on the Fightin’ Irish Battalion.

The Fighting Irish are excited to announce that our program has had 3 Notre Dame cadets in the past 3 years graduate EOD. This is an incredible accomplishment and we are so proud of our alumni! 🍀

Here come the Irish!!

After a week of train up at West Point, with familiarization on multiple weapons systems, CBRN, obstacle courses, and time with family, the team is ready to take on Sandhurst today and tomorrow.

We are wrapping up the school year with some PT! We had the awesome opportunity to host some members of the incoming class of 2030 and we are so excited to see everyone at NCO 2026!

On April 10th, the University of Notre Dame conducted its annual Pass in Review of all 4 ROTC branches on campus. Notre Dame is one of the few Universities that hosts Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force at the same institution. This was an opportunity to showcase each branches’ commitment to serve, hard work, and discipline by marching in front of the reviewing line, which included Rev. Robert A. Dowd, President of the University of Notre Dame.

Yesterday morning, the Fighting Irish hosted BG Brinker. He participated in a campus run with our cadets where they were able to ask questions and do some PT 🍀💪🏻
