PT. 3 It took me a minute to find the words.

I came to Norfolk as an outsider, chose it as home, and learned local government by watching the people inside it work. By the time I encountered Councilman Paul Riddick, he was in the later years of his service, but his voice was still unmistakable.

He had the rare courage to say out loud what many people already knew, believed, and felt, but were too cautious to name.

That is harder than it looks.

These videos are my reflection on the man I had the privilege to observe: human, fearless, uncompromising, and always willing to make the truth visible.
